Bids for the Jones Library project were due at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26th. The Town received one bid to be General Contractor. The bid amount was $42.742 million, exceeding the amount estimated by independent estimating consultants by about 20%.

Library and Town staff are working with the Town’s Owner’s Project Manager and Architect to analyze the bid. The Town has 30 days to accept or reject the bid. Staff will review the status with the Jones Library Building Committee, Library Trustees, and Town Council in the coming weeks.
