Actor, author, and visual artist John Lithgow has an international reputation in the arts and humanities and familial ties to our local community. The Jones Library is delighted that An Evening With John Lithgow will give him a chance to share his support of libraries, the humanities, and democracy in general and, specifically, to encourage support of the Library’s Capital Campaign to renovate and expand its Amity Street building.
Proceeds from this event are in support of the Jones Library's National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant (CHA-292057) and will be used to match and to be expended for the approved purposes of this award.
